The World Health Organization has declared monkeypox a global emergency as disease outbreak in more than 70 countries.
Talking to media in Geneva, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, advised the governments to raise awareness among doctors, take protective measures in suspected cases and educate members of the population on how to protect themselves from infection.
