Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says Turkish Democracy and National Unity Day reflects Turkish nation’s resolve to protect and uphold democracy.

He said this in a tweet on the occasion of Turkiye’s 6th Democracy and National Unity Day being observed on Friday.

The Prime Minister said this Day will always be remembered as an expression of Turkish people’s unwavering trust in the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He also prayed for the martyrs who laid down their lives in defence of Turkiye’s democracy and stability.
