The Turkish and Kuwaiti armies signed an action plan for joint defense cooperation in 2019 aimed at strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.
The signing of this plan comes as a continuation of the joint military coordination to achieve greater harmony, exchange of experience and consolidation of efforts, the Kuwaiti army guidance department said in a statement.
The signing of the action plan came at the end of the fifth meeting of the Kuwaiti-Turkish Military Cooperation Committee, hosted by the Kuwait Operations and Plans Committee on October 9-10.
According to the statement, the Kuwaiti side was represented by Assistant to the Chief of General Staff of the Operations and Plans Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Kandari, while the Turkish side was represented by Head of the Foreign Affairs Department Brig. Gen. Omut Yildiz.
