President of the Supreme Council for Religious Affairs Dr. Akram Kalash emphasized that the Government of Saudi Arabia cares about the Hajj pilgrims in all respects.
In a statement to the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA) on the sidelines of the Hajj Grand Symposium that concluded its work in Makkah on Tuesday, Kalah said: "For years, we have been witnessing these services provided by the Kingdom to pilgrims and Muslims, whether by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, or by the other government agencies, such as the Ministry of Health and security institutions."
All these agencies care about the guests of Rahman in every respects, including security, health, hospitality, services, guidance and awareness, he said, adding: "We view these remarkable services offered by all institutions in the Kingdom, and therefore we thank Saudi Arabia's leadership, government and people."
The Turkish official noted that the theme of Islam: Coexistence and Tolerance, which was chosen as a slogan for the Hajj Grand Symposium, is very important, especially during this difficult period experienced by Muslims due to the spread of some organizations that associate themselves with Islam, which in fact distort the image of Islam. He said these challenges require us to work together to correct the misconceptions about Islam and to highlight the reality of coexistence advocated by the Islamic religion.
