Acting Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani says the recent floods and rains have greatly destroyed the infrastructure across the province.

Talking to a delegation of International Committee for Red Cross for Asia-Pacific in Peshawar today (Tuesday), he said rehabilitation of floods victims and damaged infrastructure is a big challenge for the present government.

The Governor hoped that International Committee for Red Cross will play its effective role for rehabilitation of the victims and provision of medical treatment to the affected people.

Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani lauded the role of International Committee for Red Cross for serving the ailing community in this critical time across the country.

The delegation informed the governor about the various humanitarian activities in flood affected areas of the province.
