Provinces to be formed on administrative basis instead of ethnicities: Saif

Islamabad: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that new provinces should be constituted on administrative basis instead of ethnicities and linguistic differences to address public grievances and to compensate the deprivations of the neglected areas of the country.

Commenting on Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s statement to form new provinces in the country, APML Secretary Barrister Saif termed the government’s claim as a good omen, added that government should also ensure implementation on its tall claims to bring positive change in the society.

APML Quaid Pervez Musharraf had also announced to constitute 12 new provinces in the country on the administrative basis to ensure prosperity and progress in every nook and corner of the country and for this purpose, Musharraf strengthened ‘Local Governments’ system in the country to promote democratic values at grass root level in Pakistan, Saif maintained.

Barrister Saif said that the ruling alliance has been befooling the masses since last three years and delivered nothing except hollow slogans and tall claims and now when the incumbent government has failed all fronts, these opportunists are trying to gain public support at the name of new provinces.

The masses in the country has engulfed in challenges of inflation, corruption, unemployment, poverty, energy crisis and shortfalls and PPP-led alliance delivered nothing to the masses except sheer depression and disappointment, Barrister Saif said.

APML believes in politics of serving and the day is not far off when APML Quaid Pervez Musharraf will steer the masses from the monopoly of stereotyped political culture and politicians, Barrister Saif vowed. He said that APML Quaid Pervez Musharraf will arrive in Pakistan prior to January 31, 2012, added that APML’s January 8, 2012 procession in Karachi will prove a milestone in political history of the country.
