President Dr Arif Alvi has stressed the need for effective measures to strengthen the country’s cyber security in view of the expeditiously changing situation of the world.

Chairing briefing regarding Air University in Islamabad on Thursday, he said the universities should focus on the emerging technologies to combat the future security challenges.

He said the universities must work for promotion of information technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and block chain technology.

The President said steps are being taken to train the youth to increase IT exports in the country.
