PPI Original Text (PPI-OT) – Qaim Ali Shah presides meeting of Pakistan People’s Party ministers

 

Karachi, May 23, 2012 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Sindh presides meeting of provincial Ministers belonging to Pakistan People’s Party, held at Chief Minister House.

The meeting condemned the incidents of firing occurred during yesterday and expressed deep sorrows and grief on causalities. It was resolved that during current sensitive situation, the party Ministers, Leaders and workers should be careful and those who want to disturb peace, create mis understandings and efforting to sabotage the positive acts of present government should not be given any opportunity of success.

The meeting expressed its firm belief that all political parties are cooperating and working under vision of coexistence and political conciliation, as the future politics will fully follow the policy of political conciliation.

The meeting observed that previously there was hatred and distances among political parties in the past but at present there is coordination, cooperation, co-existence and conciliation amongst many of political parties and political forces, while the time will prove that the conciliation policy is successful for the country.

It was said that it was proved that all prominent issues like Kala bagh dam, NFC Award, and other matters have been resolved amicably. The meeting fully observed that the opponents doesn’t accept issues solved by the government and are misguiding the nation with false and baseless statements. The meeting also decided to pay compensation to the legal heirs of those who were killed and injured during yesterday’s violence.

The meeting further warned the people of conspiracies against Sindh province and observed that Sindh Provincial Assembly has already resolved for Unity, integrity and solidarity of Sindh province and there will be no place for hatred, difference and opposition to the wishes and aspirations of people, and such attempts will be fully foiled with the support of people. Chief Minister Sindh while highlighting silent features of next budget; said that the budget will be people friendly.

He said that present government has so far delivered during 4-years of governance; there will be benefits and blessings in the budget for common man, poor workers, peasants and general public at large.

The meeting was attended by Senior Minister Education Pir Mazharul Haq, Agha Siraj Durrani, Mr. Ayaz Soomro, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Dr. Daya Ram Issrani, Dr. Mohan lal, Mr. Nadeem Bhutto, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Agha Taimoor Pathan, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah Rizvi, Mr. Sharjeel Enam Memon, Syed Ali Mardan Shah, Mr. Sadiq Ali Memon, Akhtar Hussain Jadoon, Ms. Sassui Palijo, Ms. Shazia Atta Marri, Ms Nargis N.D. Khan, Mr. Zahid Hussain Bhurgri, Mr. Rafique Engineer, Haji Muzafar Shujra and others.

Those who did not attended included Mr. Manzoor Hussain Wasan, (Out of Country) , Mir Nadir Magsi (Out of Country), Mrs. Tauqeer Fatema Bhutto, Mr. Abdul Haq Bhurt, Makhdoom Jameel Zaman and Mr. Sajid Jokhiyo while Mr. Abdul Salam Thaheem has recently died.
