Peace in South Asia linked to Kashmir settlement: Naqash

Srinagar, December 22, 2012 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash has said that the peace and stability in South Asia as well as friendly relations between Pakistan and India are not possible without settling the lingering Kashmir dispute. Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar urged India to shun its unrealistic stance and settle the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations by giving them their right to self-determination.

He deplored that over 700,000 Indian troops were perpetrating heinous crimes of death and destruction in Kashmir to continue illegal hold of India in the territory. Paying glorious tributes to the martyrs of Sopore and others, he said that the Kashmiri people would not allow their sacrifices to go waste and would take their mission to its logical conclusion.
