Pakistan People’s Party with 29 seats in Azad Jammu and Kashmir needs no alliance to form government

Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has felicitated the PPP candidates on winning the six out of eight reserved seats in the elections of AJK Legislative Assembly today.

In his message of congratulations, the Prime Minister said that the victory of PPP candidates in majority in the elections was a manifestation of the confidence reposed by the people in party policies.

He hoped that the newly elected members of the AJK legislative Assembly will serve the people by discharging the entrusted responsibilities with devotion, and national sprit for solving their problems and ushering progress and prosperity of the country.
