No one will be allowed to besiege Islamabad: Rana Sanaullah

Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah Khan says the writ of the state could not be challenged.

Participating in Space discussion on Twitter on Friday, the Interior Minister said that the government would allow PTI to hold its gathering in Islamabad according to the Islamabad High Court and Apex court verdicts.

He said the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed a committee to deal with the situation arising from PTI’s long march.

Replying a question, the Interior Minister said that the rule of law would be upheld and no one would be allowed to disturb the lives of the people.

He said that unconstitutional demands and fake propaganda which were hatched against the state institutions had been exposed in front of the world. He said state institutions should work within their constitutional framework.

Rana Sanaullah said that every institution has the right to apprise the public about any fake propaganda against its institution.

He welcomed the remarks of DG ISI and DG ISPR that they will be working under the constitution which has been the demand of all political parties.

The Interior Minister said Islamabad would be protected at every cost and no one would be allowed to besiege it.

He said that in order to save the country, Muslim League (N) took tough decisions.

He said that our economic team under the leadership of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, is leading the country towards progress.

Commenting on PTI’s demand of early elections, Rana Sanaullah said the next elections would be held as per schedule.
