Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says he will not tolerate any negligence in implementation of the Kissan package.

Chairing the review meeting on the implementation of Kissan Package in Islamabad on Thursday, he said the government is providing subsidy on tube wells to the farmers in the flood affected areas.

The Prime Minister said in this difficult time, the government is providing all kinds of support to its farmers for the upcoming crop.

He said Gwadar port will be used for 50 percent cargo of wheat and urea. He further said that the full functioning of Gwadar Port is key for the development of Balochistan. The Prime Minister said all steps will be taken to make Gwadar port operational.

The meeting was informed in detail about the implementation of Kisan Package. In the meeting, the prime minister was also given a detailed briefing on the subsidy given to the farmers on tube wells, the facilities and assistance given to the farmers in the flood affected areas for the next crop.
