Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that the Government’s primary focus is on provision of relief to the masses. He maintained that the provisions taken in budget will help check inflation and bring down commodities prices within the reach of common man. Government has also planned to increase the number of Utility Stores in all Union Councils before the onset of Ramadan, he added.
The Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to Mr. Nazar Muhammad Gondal, MNA who called on him at Prime Minister’s House this morning.
The Prime Minister observed that Government is cognizant of the rising energy demands in the country. Various short and medium term measures, he added, have already been taken to bridge gap between demand and supply. Energy conservation measures are also being taken to mitigate the shortage as a short-term measure, he maintained.
Mr. Nazar Muhammad Gondal congratulated the Prime Minister on clear victory of PPP in Kashmir elections. He also apprised the Prime Minister about on-going development schemes in his constituency.
