Islamabad, November 08, 2012 (PPI-OT): The Ministry of Water and Power has advised all electricity consumers to compare their monthly bills immediately on receipt with their meter readings which would facilitate to check over billing. The same would also be helpful in reducing the chances of any errors in future as well.
The Ministry directed all DISCOs to depute their high officials to monitor performance of complaint centers and customer services centers of all their respective circles to resolve public complaints at the earliest.
The Ministry in its advisory has also appealed the consumers to pay their monthly bills in time and contribute in resolution of the electricity crisis in the country.
It may be mentioned here that all the employees of the DISCOs have specially been instructed to adopt consumer friendly policies in dealing with public so that their issues can be resolved with speed and without hindrance.
