Peshawar: Dr. Mohammad Zafar Afridi, Acting Medical Superintendent KTH has been awarded Allama Iqbal Gold Medal Award 2011 on 22nd November 2011 at Islamabad on recognition of his meritorious services during earthquake in the year 2005 and devastating floods in the country.
A total of 10 participants were awarded the gold medal from all over the country. The function was chaired by Dr. Farooq Sattar Federal Minister Overseas and Naveed Choudhry Coordinator of President of Pakistan.
Dr. Afridi is a qualified Health Manager having 21 year experience in the field of Hospital Management. He has acquired the DHA (Pak) (1991-92), PGDHM (UK) (1998-99) and MPH (Pak) (2005-07) beside various management courses in the country.
