Martyrs’ sacrifices will not go waste: Salahuddin

Muzaffarabad, December 21, 2012 (PPI-OT): The Chairman of United Jehad Council, Syed Salahuddin has said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste as their mission will be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs. Syed Salahuddin addressing a session of his party in Muzaffarabad, stressed the resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of its people through the UN resolutions.

“Issues like trade and tourism are acceptable but they should not overshadow or push the issues of right to self-determination and complete withdrawal of troops to the back burner. That would not be acceptable to the freedom-loving people of the territory”, he maintained.

He said that the Kashmiris had not offered sacrifices for trade or tourism but for ending occupation of the territory by India. “The sacrifices are going on and have been going on for last 65 years”, Salahuddin said.

He termed the killing of six youth in Sopore as yet another episode of sacrifices for the Kashmir cause. He said: “Upholding the honour of sacrifices offered by martyrs is not only the duty but a debt on the people of Kashmir.”
