Martyrs’ sacrifices will not go waste: Inqilabi


Srinagar, February 06, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chief Patron of Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA), Muhammad Azam Inqilabi has paid glowing tributes to the prominent Kashmiri martyred, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste.

Muhammad Azam Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Muhammad Maqbool Butt was hanged in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail on the 11th of February in 1984 for his leading role in Kashmir liberation movement and his body was buried in the jail premises.

He said that about 600,000 Kashmiris offered their sacrifices during the past 65 years. “We are proud of these martyrs. Kashmiri Mujahideen, who following in the footsteps of Maqbool Butt, were martyred by Indian troops, he added.

He urged the freedom-loving countries to come to the rescue of Kashmiris. The organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), should also rise to the occasion to play its role in settling the lingering dispute.
