Inqalabi condemns military action in Sopore

Srinagar, December 22, 2012 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chief Patron of Jammu and Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi has strongly condemned the Indian Army’s excesses during a military operation in Sopore. Muhammad Azam Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Not only six youth were martyred in unilateral military action, but two houses were also flattened. Belongings and orchards of residents of Saidpora, Sopore, were destroyed.”

He warned India of dire consequences if the human rights abuses continued in the territory. He asked Indian government to analyse the impending dangers of its rigid stance on Kashmir. He said that it was better for Indian leaders to fathom the ground reality and act accordingly. He urged New Delhi to take steps for holding tripartite talks to resolve the Kashmir dispute, once and for all.
