Indian army convoy attacked by ULFA guerillas in Assam

In India, a military convoy was attacked by guerrillas of the United Liberation Front in the restive Assam State.

An Indian Defense spokesperson told media that the rebels fired around 20 to 30 shots on the military convoy on the Pengeri-Digboi road in Tinsukia district causing no losses or damage.

The Indian army also fired on the guerrillas; however, no casualty was reported.
