Minister for Overseas Pakistan and Human Resource Development Sajid Hussain Turi said all possible measures are being taken to bring former FATA at par with other regions of the country in terms of development.

He said this while talking to the delegations of Pakistan People’s Party who came from Mohmand, Orakzai and Hangu in Islamabad on Monday.

The prospects and measures on the ongoing development projects and the way these projects could strengthen the economic conditions of people in Orakzai, Mohmand and Hangu districts were discussed.

He expressed regret that Ex-FATA were the most undeveloped areas of the country due to sheer negligence, however the incumbent government is paying attention to provide relief to this vulnerable segment of population.
