Fake Beverage Company unearthed in rural area of Islamabad

Islamabad: Nilore police Islamabad on Saturday unearthed a fake beverage company during a raid in the area of `Tumair’ involved in preparing the drinks of well-reputed brand, a police spokesman said.

On a tip off, Station House Officer of Nilore police station Inspector Tanveer Ahmed Abbassi and his team including Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shafique along with food department staff head by Inspector Raja Muhammad Ashraf raided at a poultry farm in Tumair. They came to know that fake beverage company is being run in this farm which is preparing the fake brands of Pepsi Cola, Dew and Miranda. Police recovered three hundred cartons of bottles of various brands and also arrested two persons identified as Muhammad Qadeer s/o Muhammad Boota and Saif ur Rehman.

Efforts are being made to arrest the owner of this fake factory Mirza Maqsood. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated this performance and directed to continue crackdown against cheaters.
