Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, Dr. Sania Nishtar says sixty one percent of the survey being conducted under Ehsaas Programme has been completed.
Addressing a press conference in Dera Ismail Khan today (Friday), she said the survey has been launched across the country to gather data about socio-economic status of households.
Dr Sania said the households would be rejected or included in the government’s flagship programme on the basis of information collected in the survey.
She said it would also help to determine eligibility for Waseela Education Programme, Ehsaas Loan and other initiatives.
She urged people to cooperate with survey teams by providing them accurate information so that genuine and deserving households could get benefit from the masses-friendly initiative.
Meanwhile, Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Dr. Sania Nishter also visited Radio Pakistan Dera Ismail Khan this evening and answered to the live telephone calls of listeners regarding Ehsaas Program.
