Dr. Hanif said that Tibetan High shift to North West enhanced Monsoon rainfall over North Western Pakistan. Talking about Floods 2010, he said that the displacement of Sub-Tropical Highs due to current ENSO Cycle (IL Nino- La-Nina Episode) caused extreme rainfall over the North West Pakistan during Monsoon season 2010.
