The Sindh Government has announced that all educational institutions of the province will remain closed till 30th of May while the Matric examinations that were scheduled to start from 16th of this month have also been cancelled.
The decisions were taken in the special meeting of provincial Cabinet held in Karachi with Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the chair.
The meeting also decided that these holidays will be considered as the summer vacations and the educational institutions will reopen from 1st of June.
The decisions were taken in view of the threat of the spread of Coronavirus that has already been declared a pandemic by World Health Organization.
