Chinese delegation visits Trade Development Authority of Pakistan

 

Karachi, August 04, 2015 (PPI-OT):A Chinese delegation from Xinjiang, a province of China, visited TDAP office and held a detailed meeting with the TDAP high ups today at 3 PM in the conference room. Dr Usman, Director General, represented TDAP and Director General of Commercial Section of Xingjian represented the Chinese delegation. A 16 member delegation consisting of investors from logistics, petroleum and real estate industry sectors from Xinjiang showed keen interest in trade, investment and economic cooperation between Xinjiang and Pakistan.

TDAP officials briefed them about trade and investment opportunities in Pakistan and role of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan in promoting and facilitating trade. On the other hand, the Chinese delegates expressed their keen interest in developing economic zone in the Gawadar port and investment in energy sector of Pakistan. TDAP thanked the delegates for visit and ensured full support and cooperation.
