Karachi: Governor of Sindh, Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan has said that government was fully aware and supportive to the victims of terrorism and floods despite resource constraints.
“There is need to create awareness in the society and provide relief to the people facing hardships in one way or the other,” he said while talking to various delegates after offering Eid prayers at Governor on Wednesday.
He was of the view that the holy month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak always taught the people about tolerance, peace and love to mankind.
The Governor offered Eid prayers along with the Acting President Farooq H. Naek at Governor House. Chief Secretary Sindh Raja Mohammed Abbas, DCO Karachi and other high ups were also present on the occasion.
Later, he also exchanged Eid greetings with senior Army officials, Ulema, diplomats and general public. On the occasion, wife of Sindh Governor Mrs Shaheena Ebad Khan was also present and welcomed the women delegates from walks of life.
