JKPFL denounces arrest of youth in IHK

Srinagar, February 26, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL) has strongly denounced the arrest of Kashmiri youth by Indian police and troops across the territory.

The JKPFL General Secretary, Ghulam Ahmed Parray, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that arrests and use of force could not suppress the Kashmiris’ resole to continue their liberation struggle. He maintained that Indian suppressive tactics had failed to intimidate the Kashmiri people into submission.

Parray maintained that the Kashmiris would continue their struggle at every level to secure the mortal remains of Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru, who were hanged in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail and buried in the premises of the prison.
